Interview types are changing

Interviewing should keep up with the times. Writing code in a doc can show how a candidate thinks, but giving them an IDE with LLM integration, a large codebase, and a bug to investigate can really showcase how they would perform on the job.

How do they navigate the codebase? Do they use LLMs to find the affected lines of code? How do they reproduce the bug? How do they generate and verify the fix?

I am not saying that one interview type should replace the other; rather, having both can really yield a more comprehensive evaluation.
